Film [no sound] from 19 August 1966, the morning after Battle of Long Tan.

On 19 August 1966, soldiers of Delta Company 6RAR, await reinforcements before returning to the battlefield. Some of their damaged weapons are examined by Private Bryan Reilly of Queensland.

The men move back into the battle area on armoured personnel carriers and almost immediately find two wounded Australians.

On the alert for booby traps and unexploded grenades, the Australians treat wounded enemy soldiers and salvage enemy weapons.
