17 Australians were killed in the Battle of Long Tan with another dying from his wounds nine days later. 24 wounded Australians survived.
No discussion of the Battle of Long Tan would be complete without remembering the ultimate sacrifice of the Australian, New Zealand, Americans and Vietnamese who served, fought, supported, were wounded, or who died in the battle.
